Definition and Principle
Definition: Electric fusion flange, also known as welding flange, is a connector that connects pipes and flanges together through electric heat fusion.
Principle: The electric fusion flange is fitted onto the pipe, and a specialized welding machine supplies power to the electric fusion fitting according to specified parameters (time, voltage, etc.), causing the electric heating wire embedded in the inner surface of the fitting to heat up. This first melts the inner surface of the fitting to produce a molten body, which expands and fills the gap between the pipe and the fitting until the outer surface of the pipe also produces a molten body. The two molten bodies fuse together, and after cooling and forming, the pipe and fitting are tightly connected as one.
